This antique 12-drawer cabinet was found in a basement artist’s studio and housed papers and art supplies. It likely dates from the 1800s to the early 1900s and features solid wood construction, original ornate label pulls, a dark green finish, and authentic patina. All drawers are dovetailed and slide well. This cabinet also includes a center pull-out writing/sorting shelf.
This cabinet would be perfect for storing sewing or crafting supplies, as an office storage cabinet, or as a statement accent piece. It would work well with a variety of interior styles, including traditional, industrial, or dark academia.
Good usable condition with wear consistent with use and age. Drawers retain wonderful patina and original hardware. One side of the top was modified at some point, likely to allow the cabinet to sit flush against a wall (see photos). Does not affect function or stability.
