Vintage MCM Danish tambour door credenza or dresser by Hundevad in teak veneer, with a clean, low profile and a grain-matched front. Two sliding tambour doors open to reveal the storage inside, and the Hundevad Danish Control label is still on the back.
Behind the are twelve sculpted-pull drawers and a section of open adjustable shelves. The piece sits on a plinth base, and the doors glide smoothly.
With twelve drawers plus open shelving, this piece holds far more than its 71-inch width suggests. Use it as a dining room buffet, a living room media console, or a long bedroom dresser. It suits Scandinavian, mid-century, and modern interiors.
Good vintage condition with some signs of wear. The glue-on pulls on the tambour doors are missing, but the doors still open smoothly, and without the handles, the grain pattern is uninterrupted and particularly striking when the doors are closed. New handles of your choice could easily be added. See pictures for details.
