Beautiful solid walnut mid-century modern dresser and matching nightstand, dated 1961. This set features gorgeous natural walnut grain, clean architectural lines, tapered legs, and solid brass hardware.
The long dresser offers an impressive amount of storage with 14 drawers total. The matching three-drawer nightstand has the same streamlined profile and brass details.
The set retains its traditional oil finish, which beautifully highlights the depth, warmth, and natural variation of the solid walnut. The warm walnut and understated brass details work beautifully with mid-century modern, organic modern, eclectic, transitional, and contemporary interiors.
Please note: Because this is an oil, it does require some periodic care. We recommend promptly wiping up spills, avoiding standing water, and refreshing the oil finish as needed over time. This type of finish is part of what gives the walnut its rich, natural appearance and allows it to be renewed rather than simply wearing out.
The set is in very good vintage condition, with minor age-appropriate wear and imperfections consistent with a piece over 60 years old.
Not willing to separate the set at this time.
