This mid-century vintage pair of Directoire-style bergère armchairs features a wood frame (possibly walnut or fruitwood) with reeded arms, fluted tapered legs, and carved rosette corner blocks. The camelback crest rail, scrolled arm terminals, and neoclassical detailing pair with the original floral upholstery in soft cream and peach tones.
This pair works beautifully in a French country, traditional, grandmillenial, or curated vintage living room, entryway, or bedroom.
Good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The upholstery is clean and in good condition. Some trim has come loose but could easily be tacked back down. See pictures for details.
